V-belts are also called Z, A, B and C belts. These letters define the width of the belt. The number that accompanies the letter indicates the length and height of the belt in inches. For example, an A102 belt is a typical 13 mm wide V-belt with a length of 12590 mm (102 inches). This range of belts is expressed by their inside length (and in some cases by the pitch length).
