Ball bearing units

Our self-aligning housings are available in a variety of designs: plummer block housings, sheet metal housings, flange housings and tensioning slides. These housings are ready-to-fit units and consist of a cast iron or sheet metal housing in which a self-aligning bearing is mounted. To ensure function and safety under all operating conditions, the bearings and housings are matched to each other. Self-aligning bearings are used in applications where misalignment or angular displacement between the shaft and the bearing housing is expected. The misalignment can be compensated either inside the bearing or outside the bearing.
