How to Measure Your Belt?
To ensure a perfect fit and optimal pulley performance, it's important to make sure that the belt is the right size and length before measuring. There are two ways to measure belts: manually or using a belt gauge.
Using your tape measure, measure the outer length of your belt by making only straight lines. Do not measure by bending the belt in a circular arc. Take a reference point, stretch the belt to its maximum to create a straight line, lock the tape measure, and then create another straight line until you reach your starting reference point.
Using a ruler or a belt gauge, measure the length of the belt laid flat from one end to the other. This length corresponds to your outer length.
